HORIZONTAL BLINDS FAUX WOOD BLINDS
Our horizontal blinds come with the decorative 3 1/4 inch decorative crown valance as standard when many other suppliers charge for this as an upgrade. Other standard features of our faux wood horizontal blinds are trapezoid bottom rails, complete cord coordination and 2 3/4 inch mitered valance returns. Optional upgrades include cloth tapes and routeless blinds which have an increased room darkening effect by eliminating the holes the cords are threaded through. Our horizontal blinds come with either cord tilt as standard or wand tilt as an option. In the case of wide blinds, over 72 inches wide, the option of multiple blinds on a head rail is recommended for ease of lifting as faux wood blinds are heavier than wood blinds. Horizontal blinds are a good option for French doors where they are installed as an outside mount with wide valance returns and with hold downs at the bottom so the blinds do not flap around when the door is opened. Cut outs for handles are available as an option. Specialty shapes which can be applied over horizontal blinds suitable for covering sunburst and eyebrow arches are available off the peg in a limited number of colors and sizes. The photo above shows sunburst arches mounted over matching faux wood horizontal blinds. WOOD BLINDS
A classic look crafted in North American basswood, wood blinds are lighter to lift than faux wood blinds. They come in a wide variety of colors and finishes, both painted and stained. Real wood has natural insulating properties and gives a rich look to any room. All standard features and options for real wood blinds are the same as for faux wood blinds.. ALUMINUM BLINDS
Also known as mini blinds, 1 inch blinds in heavy gauge aluminum, provide good privacy and light control in a horizontal product and are very light to lift. Available in a number of finishes and colors, aluminum blinds are a good option for commercial premises. |
