VERTICAL BLINDS

A traditional vertical blind is in general the least expensive way to cover a large expanse of glass.  Vertical blinds offer a high degree of light control and are the ideal solution for large windows, including sliding doors. They come in vinyl in a variety of textures, patterns and colors,  fabric and in faux wood in a number of colors to match your horizontal blind. 

Our vertical blinds come with a choice of wand or cord operation,  a choice of vane stacking options including split stack and a nice decorative valance to hide the head rail mechanism.   They can be mounted either inside or outside of the window. We can accommodate very large windows,  up to 20 feet wide. Our vertical blinds have the Suntecca Decomatic anodized aluminum track system as standard. Options include motorized head rails, either using an electric motor system for tilt and traverse or battery powered for tilt only.  We can also supply curved tracks (horizontal bend),  arch tracks ( vertical bend) and slope tracks ( angle) as upgrades. Customs striping is available, as are cutouts and track at top and bottom suitable for wall mounting and skylights.

Our vertical blinds come with a square cornered valance to match the blind as standard,  however  wide decorative valances and cornice boxes for a more elaborate look are available as an upgrade.

ILLUMA- SHEERS.

These beautiful and elegant vertical blinds are a hybrid between a blind and a drape and have a innovative design which combines light control and privacy with the decorative beauty of a sheer fabric. Vinyl vanes draw back and rotate like standard vertical blinds but are inserted into soft folds of a sheer fabric which can be removed for cleaning.   The sheer fabric is an ideal way to diffuse the daylight when the vanes are open and come in a variety of colors and patterns.  An ideal way to give a real designer look to any sliding door, these blinds come with a beautiful valance with fabric insert.

VERTICAL APPLICATION CELLULAR SHADES

These are cellular/honeycomb shades which are applied vertically. also marketed under the name Vertiglide. They can be stacked to either side or split stack.  Like all cellular shades,  they can be light filtering or blackout which is suitable for bedrooms.

VERTICAL WOVEN WOOD SHADES

Another innovative alternative for a vertical application is a woven wood shade which pulls across using a wooden bar giving a drape like look which comes in various percentages of fullness. Available as light filtering or with liners.
