ORLANDO, Fla. – The trial of Corrie Brown, a former United Stated representative charged with federal corruption, is just a month away.
On Thursday, Brown entertained an interview in Orlando wherein she expressed her desire to fight hard for herself.
When asked if she was guilty of the federal corruption served against her, she responded with a strong negation. She indicated that her attorney advised her not to say this statement, but she insisted, stating that the federal charges filed against her are considered “BS”. She emphasized that she is ready to face the court in a month to clear her name.
Corrie Brown confirmed that she was able to face her accuser. She stated that she does not have any fear because she did not do anything wrong. She is confident to face her accuser again this time in front of the court and the jury.
As she sat strongly and spoke using a firm voice, Brown said that “not guilty” will be the verdict towards her.
She even mentioned that her tombstone will indicate her bravery, how she stood up against the false accusation presented to her face, and how she fought for her clean conscience in court.
With a month away from the trial, she stated that they are prepared and equipped. Every week, she dedicates three days to condition herself.
In the trial proper, she stated that she will willingly testify. The truth, she said, will come from her, and that truth is the only valid story.
Brown expressed her belief in the jury and in the system. She said that she looks highly to the courthouse that she was once a part of. She said that if the jury’s final rule is not on her side, then she will readily surrender herself and go to prison.
Corrie Brown said that entering politics again is not in her mind because her priority is to clear her name from the false charge.
