Man Caught Selling Heroin with Fentanyl Online

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was caught selling drugs, mostly heroin with fentanyl, on social media.

Hugo Margenat-Castro, a resident of Orlando, was arrested after he was caught vending heroin with fentanyl on his social media accounts. He is a known pusher and seller in the area which has caused him to acquire a good number of clients in and out of the city.

After his arrest, the U.S. Department of Justice stated that Margenat-Castro was charged with heroin and fentanyl possession, with the intent to dispense. He then pleaded guilty against the charges indicted against him.

A 25-year old man, Hugo Margenat-Castro was already under investigation for being the alleged supplier of the drug that caused the death of another man on August 18, 2015.

The man overdosed, and this resulted to his death. It was reported that the man drove all the way from Georgia to the city of Orlando to buy drugs from Magenta-Castro. The personnel who examined the dead body stated that fentanyl was the toxin that killed the man.

The man was one of the purchasers who was lured by Margenat-Castro’s social media advertisement. Emphasizing the ‘potency’ and ‘legitimacy’ of his drugs, he wrote several reviews about the ‘greatness’ of his product and named it “The Experience Project.” He also used tags such as “I love heroin” and “Heroin in Orlando.”

According to the news released by the Department of Justice, Margenat-Castro confessed that his drugs were indeed mixed with fentanyl. He said that every time he sells a pack of heroin with fentanyl, he advises the buyer to only use a small quantity for it was too strong.

Fentanyl is a painkiller that is considered to be the most powerful opiate in the market.

Reports stated that Margenat-Castro was able to sell more than 100 grams of drugs from January to October of 2015. He is expected to face imprisonment with a minimum of 20 years up to a life sentence.
