Hardhat Wearables to Launch Hardhat Connect in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – A division of the Priologic Software Inc., Hardhat Wearables will soon launch its Hardhat Connect, a localized collaboration platform for people working in construction, oil and gas, remote logging, and other utility work sites that often have little to zero internet connectivity.

The new Hardhat Connect is a system that is designed with a local ruggedized collaboration server that can be mounted in a portable trailer or a crew truck with the network gear. The network gear is able to penetrate forests and buildings.

It can deliver video, audio, screen sharing, and even telestration between members of a team that wear the Head Mounted devices. This includes those like the Head Mounted Display by Fujitsu, Head Mounted Tablet-1 of Realwear, and most of the recent Android devices, PC, and even Mac computers.

Many ruggedized Android phones and even tablets are becoming available and popular in the market today. Some of the common types that are also widely used these days include the Sonim safe phone and the CAT S60 ruggedized phone.

The Priologic Software Inc. teamed and worked with the Iotatel Inc. who has been producing wifi systems that deliver high-speed internet connectivity within the rather impenetrable coastal rainforests in British Columbia.

The Priologic Software Inc. Chief Executive Officer Doug Pelton said that the FPInnovatiions.ca referred the Iotatel team to them to help in delivering the localized internet just like in the deep forests in British Columbia.

With the Hardhat Connect Product and the advantage of the wifi system of Iotatel, team members can work remotely but still stay connected even in rugged and dangerous places and conditions.

Making and producing a system that is able to penetrate even the dense foliage to help workers communicate in remote and dangerous conditions can be a very challenging vision, according to Pelton. He also added that that being the case, they don’t have a lot of competitors in the area.

Pelton also said that the Hardhat Connect is designed and made in the hopes of making work conditions safer by providing workers a better communication device while in remote and quite dangerous areas.

By far, the largest account for accidents especially in industrial working sites happen on the first working year and good communication between the new workers and the work supervisor or the safety officer is critical.

The Priologic Software Inc. Hardhat Wearables team will be present at the Enterprise Connect at Gaylord Palms, Orlando, Florida from March 27 to March 30 in booth 2401 to launch their new hard hat system.
